"Projects are all about the client. Whether it's a log home, a Floridian villa, a city loft or a home in the country, it's really about the client, their needs, wants and desires."
Great design comes from great conversation. Your home is a reflection of who you are, each client is unique and that is why every project we do is designed with every stage of life in mind. Our team of trained and seasoned designers draw inspiration from over 70 years of collective experience. We are comfortable in new construction, remodeling or freshening up any space. This distinct expertise informs the way we listen to our clients, inspire them to envision their space, and collaborate with everyone at the table!
Talla believes projects are made and measured by teams—client, designer, architect, and builder. From the earliest stages, her foundation of palette, space and purpose bring a discipline that allows the art of living to find its home. A talented designer, Talla's greatest skill is listening, creating spaces that fulfill her client's needs in a timeless, well-mannered style.
Talla was the recipient of the ASID Designer of Distinction Award in 2009, and the Tom Gunkelman Legacy Award in 2011. Talla has received numerous ASID project awards over the span of her career. She received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota in Interior Design and served on the Board of Trustees for Dunwoody College of Technology for 20 years and continues to volunteer at the college.
For the past 40 years, interior design has been and continues to be her passion and she shares this passion by mentoring young designers—just as she had been early in her career
